Social indicators: Tenants renting at market rates

Tenants who rent their accommodation at market rates have nearly doubled as a proportion of the overall population rising from 7.6% in 2007 to 14.2% in 2013. The composition of the group changed during the same period, with the proportions of young people (25-34 year olds), single adult households with children, and low income households rising steeply.
