The most satisfied users were users of labour cost index and harmonized index of consumer prices. Users’ satisfaction with particular statistical categories was predominantly influenced to the extent they felt that comparable time series were available and that the statistics were disseminated in an easily understandable manner. An increased emphasis on these factors would therefore most likely increase users’ satisfaction with official statistics.
