The CPI in September 2010 is unchanged from the preceding month (also unchanged less housing cost). Over the last 12 months the CPI rose by 3.7% (CPI less housing cost rose by 4.9%) while the change over the last 3 months is equivalent to an annual deflation of 1.6% (1.6% deflation less housing cost). In Iceland, the HICP rose by 0.39% in August from the preceding month and by 0.18% in the EEA. Over the 12 months to August the HICP in Iceland rose by 5.9% and by 2.0% in the EEA.
