Results from the household expenditure survey 2006-2008 (at 2008 prices) are broken down by type of household, residence and interquartile ranges of disposable income and expenditure. The sample size was 3,504 households, of which 1,728 households participated giving a response rate of nearly 50%. The average household size is 2.39 individuals compared with 2.40 in the years 2005-2007.
