In 2013 managers received the highest salaries in the private sector. Mean monthly regular salaries for full-time managers were 939 thousand ISK and total salaries were 1,034 thousand ISK. General workers received the lowest regular salaries, 311 thousand ISK but service workers received the lowest total salaries 398 thousand ISK.
