Wages in the private sector increased by 2.4% on average between the years 2008 and 2009. Wage change ranged from -2.3% for Managers to 5.8% for General workers. In the economic activity of Manufacturing the wages rose by 4.5% while the decrease of wages was 0.4% in the economic activity of Financial intermediation. Wages in the public sector increased by 7.1% during the same period.
