Statistics Iceland collects and processes some data on health e.g. figures on economy and health based on survey of income and living conditions conducted by Statistics Iceland (EU-SILC). Data on health, life style factors and health services is processed by other institutions which have the responsibility to register and/or collect such data. Some of the main institutions are The Directorate of Health, The Icelandic Cancer registry and Icelandic Medicines Agency.
