Statistics Iceland has released a new issue of Statistical series within the category Information technology. This issue discusses IC technology in Icelandic households as well as individuals' use of a computer and the Internet in 2004. Emphasis is placed on computer related activities carried out by individuals and the purpose of Internet use and e-commerce. An international comparison is made on individuals' use of the Internet based on results from Eurostat.
Results for households are presented by residence and number of household members. Results for indiviuals are presented by gender, age, residence, education and occupation.
